Pink Crystal Driskill Wedding

I met Whitney and her mom right before 4th of July and they hired me
for Whitney’s September wedding. I was so excited to begin creating
the vision Whitney told me she wanted. What she described was pink,
very romantic with Damask and fabulous flowers. She had her dress,
but the rest was full speed ahead for me. 2010 has been the year for
short term planning, but when you hire vendors you can trust all the
details come together beautifully. Our first blessing was the Driskill
being available for a Sunday wedding over Labor Day Weekend.
Then having Tyler Schmitt as their photographer, well what can I
say. The wedding was yesterday and I already have all these over
the top photos to enjoy. There will be more photos, but here is a
very large sneak peek. His kids are right, he is Superman.

Tarrytown Methodist & The Driskill

Aga is one of those brides that warms a wedding planner’s heart. She
had great ideas, asked for help whenever she needed something,
always had a smile and is crazy about her new husband.

They are such a cute couple and I was thrilled to be a part of their
wedding day. My intern told me on the wedding day “This wedding is
so simple, yet elegant” Yes, that was exactly what the bride wanted
and I was glad to bring it to life. Considering Aga’s beaming smile and
all the hugs she gave me throughout the night at the wedding I think we
can say her wedding was a huge success.

Fall sunset at Thurman’s Mansion

Skyler lives in Houston and she hired me to assist her planning her wedding in
Austin at the Salt Lick’s Thurman’s Mansion. Her natural succulent bouquet
was beautiful but even more special when we added her grandfather’s cross
and grandmother’s thimble to the bouquet. The weather was amazing that
night which was the perfect setting for their outdoor ceremony, sunset and
evening reception which many guests enjoyed on the large outside patio.

While I wait for the professional photos, I thought I would share a few I took
with my phone. They are not professional by any means, but it will give you
a peek into Skyler’s wedding details.
